Whole Donut - Enfield

We discovered this hidden gem while searching for Whole Donut since the one in Holyoke closed down about a year ago. Honestly, the coffee, donuts, and service were all fantastic! The kids wanted vanilla frosted donuts, but they weren't available at the time of our visit. The gentleman who served us—whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch—went above and beyond to try to create a vanilla frosted donut for them. He even made my father-in-law a makeshift Bavarian cream donut, which he also didn’t have in stock for the rest of the day. I doubt anyone else would have taken the initiative to do that. We're so grateful we made the 15-minute drive to Enfield. THANK YOU FOR MAKING ALL OF US HAPPY! We miss having this donut shop in Holyoke! This visit was on 10/22/22.

Nikki is absolutely wonderful—sweet and kind, and I would give her a million stars. However, this review isn't about her. The woman who assisted us during our last visit was on a personal phone call the entire time we were there, and it felt as though we were interrupting her. She slammed her phone on the counter and yelled, “I'll call you back!” as if we were the cause of her distress. You're at work, handling food and customers—please, put your phone away! I had intended to order several coffees and a few dozen donuts for a family gathering, but we ended up grabbing just two donuts and leaving instead, not wanting to inconvenience her further.

Oh wow the Whole Donut...I have been going to the Whole Donut since I was 2 years old or so and I am now going to be 47 next month. Basically if there was a Whole Donut in the town I live in and not a 30 min round trip drive Dunkin' would NEVER see my face again!

The donuts here are incredibly fresh and delicious! My son mentioned that the breakfast sandwich—specifically the sausage and cheese on a croissant—is the best he's ever had in his 20 years. The owner was friendly and very helpful. We will definitely be returning!

This place offers homemade donuts and accepts cash, credit, and debit cards. They have a nice selection of medium-sized coffee options. If you prefer not to have your coffee black, you can choose whole milk or non-dairy creamer. They also provide sweeteners like Splenda, Equal, Sweet’n Low, and regular sugar for those who like their coffee a bit sweeter.
