What Nancy McCartney doesn't like about 56 Main Street Grill:
I recently dined at 56 Kitchen on Som and overall, it was pretty good. However, I was disappointed when I ordered the Flank Sinatra for takeout. Despite paying $15, there were only four tiny slices of steak on the salad. The dressing was tasty, but for the price, I expected more steak. I absolutely adore this restaurant! It has a charming personality and is perfect for a small town. The staff is friendly and, most importantly, the food is delicious!
No matter where he is or what he's doing, Doug always serves great food. Kitchen 56 has a super cute atmosphere and is very welcoming. I highly recommend trying the chocolate decadence (a specialty of Doug's) - even if you don't eat it there, get it to go for later. You won't regret it. The staff was amazing. The restaurant has fantastic vegetarian dishes and a wide selection of beers. We brought our kids and the staff brought out some extra snacks for them, including distraction fries, which they loved!
Kitchen 56 is our favorite restaurant in Enfield. We have tried almost every dish on the menu and have always been impressed. They also offer fantastic rotating specials. The prices for both food and drinks are reasonable. The service at Kitchen 56 is always superb, with a cohesive and friendly team. I can't wait to come back!
This riverside restaurant is a great spot for outdoor dining. The interior can be a bit noisy, but the food is tasty and portions are plentiful. The staff is welcoming and attentive. Overall, a delightful dining experience.
