Reviews - Surfdog's Java Hut
Reviews summary
After a long-awaited reopening, loyal patrons were left underwhelmed: bagels arrived stale and tough with almost no cream cheese, making a roughly $7 purchase feel overpriced and inedible. What should be a comforting breakfast staple instead disappointed returning fans and raises concerns about consistency and freshness.

I like this place. I ordered the local and a berry tea. The local is a great egg sandwich Wheelchair accessibility: You can roll right in. It is ground floor
Recommend the Veggie Sammie, we enjoyed it so much. Sourdough bread is tender. Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian
My favorite place to get an acai bowl and chai latte on a weekend. The atmosphere and staff are super friendly. The vibe is so Encinitas!
Not locals here, but this is our favorite coffee shop we found so far after a couple weird sugary coffee places. Extremely friendly staff, good coffee/latte, comfortable seating, good music (alternative rock this morning).

Nice coffee shop and seating. Just don?t sit on the side alley-like seating space, it smells nasty ????
After waiting years for this place to re-open, I was so bummed when I got my usual- bagel cream cheese. The bagel was stale and tough, and there was almost no cream cheese. The worst part is I spent 7 dollars (including tip) on food that was inedible.#neveragain
Very nice little Cafe right off the main drag in Encinitas. Dog friendly, lots of pastries and breakfast options as well as a barrista for coffee drinks. There is both indoor and outdoor seating with umbrellas and plenty of parking on side streets. Was not crowded at 10am on a Saturday
Big local shop! Beautiful atmosphere and good coffee. One of my favorite places to get comfortable and read / work!

What a great place! We were Aussie travellers passing through from San Diego to LAX. We needed a break and this was a unique spot with friendly staff and great coffee! Food looked scrumptious too.
Home grown, great coffee, tea and chai. Best kept secret: the back patio. Thank you for a wonderful local alternative to the national and international franchises. :
