Reviews - Surfdog's Java Hut
Reviews summary
After a long-awaited reopening, loyal patrons were left underwhelmed: bagels arrived stale and tough with almost no cream cheese, making a roughly $7 purchase feel overpriced and inedible. What should be a comforting breakfast staple instead disappointed returning fans and raises concerns about consistency and freshness.

I like this place. I ordered the local and a berry tea. The local is a great egg sandwich Wheelchair accessibility: You can roll right in. It is ground floor
My favorite place to get an acai bowl and chai latte on a weekend. The atmosphere and staff are super friendly. The vibe is so Encinitas!
Always a great pit stop for delicious coffee and breakfast sandwiches during our bike rides. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Most of all, the staff is very kind and friendly.
I liked my coffee and bagel only that they need to go easy on salt ! Everything we tried was salty especially the tortilla chips on side of the avocado toast.
I was in the area but already caffeinated so went for their breakfast plate, with Bacon, egg, pepper jack, a special sauce, tomato. I hate I don't remember it or see the dish option, but I requested to wrap and oh man it was delish?. I'll be back for coffee and that wrap for sure? Parking: It's on the main strip of Encinitas so parking varies.

Very nice little Cafe right off the main drag in Encinitas. Dog friendly, lots of pastries and breakfast options as well as a barrista for coffee drinks. There is both indoor and outdoor seating with umbrellas and plenty of parking on side streets. Was not crowded at 10am on a Saturday
Nice coffee shop and seating. Just don?t sit on the side alley-like seating space, it smells nasty ????
After waiting years for this place to re-open, I was so bummed when I got my usual- bagel cream cheese. The bagel was stale and tough, and there was almost no cream cheese. The worst part is I spent 7 dollars (including tip) on food that was inedible.#neveragain
Had a wonderful Café Latte and a delicious Egg Cookdar Bagel. Beautiful location and atmosphere.

This place has been here forever, worth bypassing all the new coffee spots popping up! Worlds best chai
Home grown, great coffee, tea and chai. Best kept secret: the back patio. Thank you for a wonderful local alternative to the national and international franchises. :
What a great place! We were Aussie travellers passing through from San Diego to LAX. We needed a break and this was a unique spot with friendly staff and great coffee! Food looked scrumptious too.
