Our new favorite spot, especially considering Starbucks' poor record on political issues and employee rights.
It is posted online that this location closes at 6pmI arrived at 5:30 and the doors were locked with employees inside. There were customers outside that said they locked the doors at 5:25pm.This was very disheartening because I love Peet's coffee.
The tiny feta and egg white quiche is surprisingly healthy and delicious if you're in the mood for something savory. The croissants are tasty, but they're quite rich and sweet for those of us watching our calorie intake. Ultimately, the focus here is on the coffee, and Peet's Coffee does an exceptional job. The service is always excellent too; the staff is friendly, and the baristas remember you quickly. It's my favorite coffee spot in San Diego. Vegetarian options: They offer almond, soy, and oat milk, so most drinks can easily be made non-dairy or vegan.
Nice quick drip coffee, not overpriced. Warm almond croissant. Restrooms are a plus. No fuss service. Seating indoors, but looks a little overcrowded. Coffee and croissant were good
The best coffee in San Diego! These folks really know what they're doing. Whenever I'm in the area for work, I always make it a point to stop by for a Triple Cappuccino. It's simply incredible! Matt is a true artist when it comes to that foam.
