This chain is one of my favorites, been eating it for years. This particular location has gone down hill with the food quality in the last year or so. It's taken several bad episodes before I wrote this review, so I'm sure it wasn't just a bad day. Buyer be warned, you won't get the same quality at this location. Update: we did go back and give it another try. I am happy to report things are back in order. The food w... View all feedback.
I had a wonderful time eating at Luna grill in Encinitas. I ordered a chicken kabob plate with fries and 2 kids meals, and they cooked it very good! Excellent work!. Thanks to Vanessa and Riko my family and I had a very welcoming experience as soon as we entered the store. They were very helpful and patient. Will be definitely coming back next time we are in town.
Doesn't seem like there are ever enough healthy, fast restaurants. This is both! ?? I've had the vegetarian plate once and salmon plate once. Loved them both! Also get the carrots ? and spicy hummus appetizer. The carrots are cut like big chips. Mmm.. Enjoy! Carlsbad and Encinitas.
This is my first time to a Luna Grill in several years, if ever. I came here today bc it was recently added to my air miles list of places to eat for frequent flier miles. I must say, this place is pricey, very, for a fast casual place and its portions. I got the Chicken Gyro Meat signature plate that includes basmati rice, house salad, and 3 small wedges of pita and tzatziki for $15.85. That almost sounds like a sit down restaurant price. The portions of meat were adequate as was the salad but overall for that price, seems a little high. Its not like the gyro meat was juicy and hot right off the spit. What was quite a disappointment was the 3 tiny wedges of pita. Its the cheapest item on the plate and at least 1 full size round piece would have been significantly better and maybe I would consider this review differently. For the price, to skimp on something like pita seems pretty silly. I see several reviews saying the portion sizes are smaller. I can't compare on that at all but I expected a little more for, with drink, came to over $20. Another strange thing was when I was sitting at my table waiting for my food, another customer just leaving actually did come up to me and ask if I thought I paid a lot for the food, if I had also paid over $20, and that he was disappointed in paying that much for a small lunch. I couldn't disagree with him.

Enjoyed another fabulous meal at Luna Grill. Love the fresh ingredients, not processed food! And the Stone Delicious IPA paired well together with the tabbouleh, hummus, chicken skewers, onions, olives, rice... essentially all Mediterranean flavors in the bowl.
