The service at this restaurant is always outstanding, much like the food. My favorite dishes include the chili relleno burrito, veggie burrito, cheese quesadilla, and their value meals. They truly know their craft. I used to dine here three times a day because it’s conveniently located right across from the La Paloma theater and just a short walk to the beach. The portions are generous and packed with flavor, and they offer extra hot sauce on the side if you like it spicy. The restaurant has a dedicated customer base, and everyone appears to enjoy their experience.
I have been dining at 'Berto's for over 30 years, which is hard to believe but absolutely true. The food is excellent, but what really sets this place apart is the warm, family-like atmosphere we experience every time we walk in. The burritos are huge and incredibly delicious, with the bean and cheese options being my personal favorites. We also love the carne asada, Cali burrito, and the Fili's burrito, which features carne asada and a Chile relleno. The breakfast burritos are outstanding as well. Conveniently located near the beach, it's the perfect spot to grab a meal before heading to Moonlight or D Street for a day of fun in the sun.
Without a doubt, this taco shop along the Encinitas coast is among the tastiest I've ever tried. Their tacos, quesadillas, shrimp burrito, California burrito, and carne asada fries are all fantastic. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!
The service is great, fast if you order inside. Food is good, we keep coming because the low prices and the salsas are made well, lots of choices from very hot to mild. The location is great, near the beach and public transportation.
This is undoubtedly one of the best taco shops on the Encinitas coast. Their tacos, quesadillas, shrimp burrito, California burrito, and carne asada fries are all incredibly delicious. You all are amazing!
