During our visit from Delaware, we had to make a stop at this restaurant. It has always been one of our favorite spots from our time living in California. I reached out to the owner and... View all feedback.
What Jane B doesn't like about Chin's Szechwan Encinitas:
I was very disappointed with the honey chicken; it was extremely dry, and I ended up having to discard almost half of my lunch. It felt almost like I was chewing on rubber. View all feedback.
Elegant dining room, the wait staff in black and white uniform were polite and efficient. My shrimp and noodles were prepared quickly and to my liking. I would recommend Chin's to anyone looking for an upscale Chinese restaurant.
Where should I start? We were immediately greeted and sat at a private table. The server came to our order after about 5 minutes. We ordered soft drinks and an appetizer. The soft drinks were both flat and disappointing. The server replaced them, but the replacements were also flat. I asked her to take her away and bring us iced tea. The menu has a good selection of dishes. The presentation left something to be desired. We enjoyed the meal, but were impressed enough to plan another trip to this restaurant. This situation is enough. No. It's nothing to write home about.
The Black Pepper Beef is made fresh in front of the table , bright out sizzling on a 500° hot iron plate reminiscent of fajitas or Ruth's Chris steaks. Highly recommended, this place is a new family favorite. We already forgot Chang's...
Food was good but it didn't seem to have the Szechwan spice and traditional dishes. The restaurant had a very nice atmosphere, with traditional art and nice displays. Everyone that worked there was nice and food came out quickly.
Chin's is a traditonal Chinese restaurant, serving all your favorites plus their own House specialties. The Tangerine Beef was outstanding!!! Why not try the Special Lo Mein, too. Servers wear white collared shirts with black jackets for an upscale dining experience. If you are looking for a Chinese restaurant that follows tradition, then Chin's is the place to go....enjoy!
