This restaurant is one of our favorites for consistently delicious Asian food. We love the variety of tasty sauces and how well-cooked the dishes are without being greasy. The spicy sauce definitely packs a punch. We highly recommend trying the dim sum brunch on Fridays through Sundays. What A J doesn't like about Chiko:
The food at this restaurant is delicious. If you dine in, you can choose your own seat and serve yourself water and sauces. Orders are placed through an app, which incurs a $2 service fee. The server only delivers the food to your table. I'm not sure if this warrants a 15% tip (which is the minimum option for gratuity when paying). The place for anyone visiting north county or encinitas. always worth the ride, the price, the line. eating is just so good. my first recommendation when someone asks where to eat. I've gone for about 10-15 times over 2 years.
Everything we ordered was amazing! We are foodies and eat at wonderful restaurants, both expensive and reasonable priced and can honestly say eating here is a must. I can’t express enough how delightful and distinct each dish was. Fresh, delicious, light yet substantial. We will be coming back again!
Amazing pork belly bao taco and crispy chicken rolls! The spices in the kimchi and the sauces are really good and have some heat! Love the Kimchii pork dumplings too.
Enjoyed this casual restaurant. There are QR codes at each table and you simply scan, order and pay on your phone. Service is friendly and efficient. I tried the smashed salmon and broccoli. Enjoyed both- they had nice flavors but a bit too much oil for my liking. My partner had the brisket and Brussels sprouts. He absolutely loved both. Not too many vegan options.
