I challenge any local or visitor to find a place with better prices and a more welcoming team. I'll wait. And to think from this writing you only have a year or two left toexperience this gem before it's gone. Call me biased but I have been coming here since my parents brought me at 6 months old.We visit the beach from the hot desert of Tucson, Arizona and never miss a chance to visit good ole Captain Keno's. That marksnearly 28 years of $5.99 Keno Burgers w/fries, $2.49 bowls of clam chowder with bread (AFTER the price increased), $5.79 KenoSpecials (2 pancakes, 2 sausage links, 2 eggs, home fries, and 2 slices of toast), $3.25 happy hour drinks and the surprisepiece of birthday cake when it's your special day. You heard me right the prices have remained impressively affordable for 3+decades. Believe it or not the pictured box of clam chowder accompanying this review only cost $21. That's 8 quarts. CaptainKeno's teaches it's patrons that there are more things to life than profit. We often forget that lesson and the Captain remindsus how to forget the cost and enjoy the moment. With family, friends, or even strangers, Captain Keno's is a positive andfilling experience...every... single... time. Thank you Captain Keno's for everything you have been and done.

The atmosphere definitely has a Honky Tonk vibe, from the wooden walls in the cocktail lounge to the beautiful stained glass windows. It’s a comfortable and friendly place, perfect for meeting people who have stories to share about the area or someone who just stumbled upon this gem. Everyone is welcome—no invitation needed! With Thanksgiving just around the corner, Kenos is hosting its traditional buffet, complete with dessert and drinks, all for the same price as 40 years ago—just $3.00. Yes, you heard that right! It's a fantastic spot for families, and the bar tends to be lively with plenty of patrons, plus they offer complimentary food during early bird hours. I can treat my entire family for just $20. The only downside is that they open around 4 PM.
