First time in Encinitas and while I escaped a business conference for a peak at the ocean, decided a pizza would hit the spot. What josephr doesn't like about Buona Forchetta:
Very good meal. The focaccia seemed a little bit stale. Three glasses of wine two pasta dishes, and artichoke appetizers $132. Solid but not great value. Very nice staff, will be going back. Pesto sauce was fantastic and artichokes were delicious! View all feedback.

It was busy but got sat immediately with reservations. The gnocchi was some of the best I’ve ever had. The complimentary bread wasn’t very good but we got the caprese and enjoyed it. Bottle of wine reasonably priced. But overall amazing Italian food. Highly recommend the pizza as well
