Union Street Social - Emporia

Absolutely fantastic. The restaurant decor and the music played is perfect. The food is incredible and the service is great. We were there on a Thursday and went back the next day because we loved it so much!! We had the burger, chicken sandwich, Kansas City strip, fish and chips, truffle fries and the bee sting over the 2 visits. Oh and the crème brûlée was ahhhhhmazing!!

Phenomenal is the only word to describe this small town, but big personality restaurant! We came on a late evening nightcap and was absolutely astonished how much personality and character this restaurant has. The crab cakes were the star of the show as long with my crafted espresso martini. The pasta I had was a bit too greasy for my liking but other than that everything was perfect. I was passing through this small town and will come back if I have the opportunity to.

Our first experience with Union Street Social was a hit. Our server Nathan was great in his suggestions and very personable and diligent. Hubby had the prime rib and I had the over the top grilled cheese. The brussel sprouts were to die for (I'm finishing them for breakfast ? . The atmosphere was excellent in decor and mood. Seatings were spaced out enough you felt personal intimacy but still sharing the experience with other diners. We thoroughly enjoyed all aspects and highly recommend it for a fine dining experience. This place rocks so much that I saw Dorothy at the bar with Toto sipping a Negroni. Negroni cocktails are wonderful. Great laid back cool atmosphere. Food was delicious. So accommodating that they grilled the fish instead of fried it for the tacos. All of Kanasa agrees.....this place is 5-star!

One of my favorite restaurants anywhere. I'm often in Kansas City, St Louis, and many other destinations, and this gem of a restaurant holds up to anything anywhere else. A true local treasure.Unique and delicious menu, friendly staff, great vibe. I love it.
