The place where the locals go to get Southern home cooked flavor. Very enjoyable. Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking. Restroom functional for handicap use but would be a little close as is small. View all feedback.
What Kathleen Petersen doesn't like about Homeplate Grill And Cafe:
Cute little place. Unfortunately, it is extremely dirty. I'm not sure about the women's restroom, but the men's was disgusting. Had tons of Nats flying around. Place needs a renovation. View all feedback.
Cute little place to stop for lunch when driving through Emporia. Good food and our server was so sweet. My family enjoyed it!

Stopped here while traveling. Conveniently located, little hole in the wall. But don't be deterred by the older building... The scratch made food is delicious! Hubby and I had the roast beef special... Yum!! Friendly staff, friendly regulars, reasonable prices. Worth it!!
