El Ranchero Iv - Emporia

Some of the negative reviews here do not do this restaurant justice. Yes, it's attached to a Days Inn, but apart from that, I found it very appealing. The service was good. I had the number three. At Enchilada, Chile Rellano and Taco, as you can see from the picture. Didn't eat the taco because the first two filled me. Also a medium margarita that was delicious. I'd come back here if I'm in town and recommend eating here. Apparently from the crowd that was there on a Monday night, it must be a local favorite.

This place is delicious. We accidentally stopped here for lunch on a trip down 95. The food was as good as any Tex Mex we've ever eaten. The prices were reasonable. We came to lunch and had no waiting, but I wouldn't be surprised if this place was packed for dinner. There were a few people who came in to get themselves while we ate.

This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant. I had Enchiladas and a frozen Margarita. Five stars. Stay here on my trips. Authentic Mexican cuisine and fantastic service.

Just happened to see it out of the corner of my eye turning into my hotel, thought I’d give it a try. Best decision I could have made. They were very busy (no wonder) and as I was alone, I took a seat at the bar. Monday and Thursday is margarita night, so I had one, very good. Chips and salsa appeared as if by magic in seconds. Large menu, could not decide so I asked my very friendly server for his favourite dish. Four amigo’s was the name with fresh tilapia perfectly grilled, scallops and shrimp. It was delicious. This place is now a “can’t miss” for me when traveling through. Highly recommend

The food was great and it came quick considering they were very busy. The waiter did an awesome job. He was very friendly and helpful.
