Il Galeone - EMPOLI

This restaurant specializes in seafood and fish (although there are also meat dishes) as then in italia almost usual, prices are not particularly low. but for what I experienced, the dishes are exquisite. I chose a single main dish that is. the seafood paella (only seafood and rice, no other ingredients.) it proved to be exquisite and also abundant (as it should be because it costs 20 euro.) so I had to eat nothing else. to tell the truth, I would have tried a dessert (the dessert menu is not limited to the usual few elements, I was tried by the grand marnier crepps;) but because of the short time available I could not have. the restaurant is conveniently located near the train station and the bus stop of empoli and close to a park and a parking lot. too midday it appears very popular for business lunch, which is a good signal. in the act it is closed on Sunday, then it obviously puts a lot on business.

We stumbled over this restaurant that lies opposite the railway station in empoli. the lunch was very good. baked mixed seafood and a porcini risotto. the atmosphere is very pleasant and the service is good. Not the cheapest, but a pleasant experience. 30...euros for lunch for two.

Pleasant place, good food I ate some excellent spaghetti with clams pine nuts and tomatoes and an equally excellent pasta with moscardini and pistachio pesto. . .only sins perhaps a little slow in service (but wanting to be hypercritical)
