What Aeffe60 doesn't like about Agricola Vecchio Fienile:
We have tasted a little everything and, exchanged the dishes, different from each other, each one of us has made an idea that however we share: beautiful and pleasant location especially in summer, service a little slow but honest, quality of the dishes more in the utterance of the same than in the substance, average quantity poor, price quite high for what offered. Very nice and well cared for both the exterior and the interior. family environment. appetizing courses, very soft meat, very kind lady. We were really good!
I stayed at this place for a group dinner with friends. wonderful location furnished in detail! delicious food, friendly staff! I recommend the artichokes made of the empolese! I hope to return for other occasions.
We had dinner here during the first weekend of November; we had already been a couple of times guests of this restaurant, of which I kept a good memory. The room is very welcoming, tastefully furnished and with a pleasant note of rusticity. The service, but unfortunately this time we were rather disappointed by the kitchen: we tasted some dishes of the special truffle menu (tartare and cut), but we found it definitely too expensive compared to quality. Of course we are aware of the prices to the stars of the truffle, but in the dishes we tasted just did not feel!! In particular, the cut was drowned in a “cremoso”, that is a vaguely truffled and very liquid sauce that, in our opinion, did not value meat at all. Better tartare, but nothing special. In the appetizer and sweet rule. Since the final figure (including wine) has turned out to be more than 50€ per head, we did not feel completely satisfied... let's say that at the same price in the area you can find definitely better!! Too bad
A real delight a few steps from home! The exterior and interior spaces are well-kept and welcoming, with care for details in every donde. The menu, though short, embraces the taste of tradition with some contemporary touch! Good selection of wines, attentive to the territory. For me that I am not Tuscan, a goodness the 'bracioline all'empolese '! We will return, especially waiting for the beautiful season to enjoy the garden! Bravo!
