The food was good, but the service I received had let me run for the hills, the most disappointing part was that the manager was this place the most sought after worker I had known for a long time.

This place is good! Reasonable rates, big portions and the employees are always very kind.

I cannot say this is the best or even good BBQ. As a Flint’s kid I should know. I’d also like to add the customer service sucked...The guy that helped me seemed a bit cantankerous and contentious. I almost walked away, but it smelled good so I continued with my order. I noticed the menu was À la carte which I didn’t like…then I paid $28 for a half rack and one link. That was a bit pricey for unseasoned meat. I would have gotten some potato salad but it was overloaded with who knows what????Anyways I’m feeling disgusted after eating this. Meaning my belly hurts. I’m thinking the meat was raw after further inspection. Pretty pink. Trynna kill me huh?You can surely find better BBQ at Smoking Woods in North Oakland Temescal area on Telegraph. Their meat is smoked and seasoned well. Also, their staff is friendly and they have an outside seating area with a TV.Never coming to this place again. I only gave two stars because it smelled good. Lol.

They don't honor pre-orders if they sell out before and just close the store

The chicken is sooooo good but always sold out! No wonder! BBQ sauce and potato salad are also my faves. Will probably only ever get these three things this place.
