What Lloyd Richmond likes about Al Maida Hot Food And Market:
Super friendly people, and great prices in Meat, Poultry, and Seafood. Good neighborhood place to shop!! Oh, and they have Beer, Wine, and good prices on Liquor!! View all feedback. What Nikhil Viswanathan doesn't like about Al Maida Hot Food And Market:
Got the 2 specials of the day, chicken biriyani and nihari. Biriyani was a big portion but honestly tasteless. Nihari was not good either bland, thickened sauce with a big piece of dry beef (not even lamb or mutton). The only good things were the naan and dal! View all feedback.

read moreThe restaurant offers a variety of dishes, with mixed reviews on taste and portion size. Good options for vegetarians, with clearly labeled menu items. Friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere. Stellar halal options recommended by regulars. Fantastic samosas and Tandoori chicken wraps. Great prices and a cool market environment, with indoor and outdoor seating available. Delicious options like karahi ghost and veggie falafel wrap. Though some dishes received praise, portion sizes were criticized, and naan was described as more Afghan in style. Inconsistent quality across dishes, but overall a solid choice for Pakistani cuisine in the East Bay.

Biryanis are nit authentic. They simply mix rice with lamb or chicken curry. Biryani was too dry
