Surf's Up Grill - Emerald Isle

AVOID THIS SCAM. Absolutely shafted on the receipt they automatically put the tip on for a family of 4 and then put the suggested tip on the bottom, not only was the food c tier the service sucked and then you tip them twice if your not paying attention.

Sadly, we had the worst dinner here that I think I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The flounder was awful, service not so good, margarita was poor and overpriced, and it was dirty and extremely loud. When we walked past the kitchen to our table, it looked dirty and disorganized in there too. Maybe it was just a bad night, but this place needs some work. Confused by all the good reviews…

Overpriced drinks which they don’t tell you the price on the menu. Crappy food. Took forever to get our food. The fish was 90% breading that tasted bad. The sandwich was terrible. The only decent thing was the hush puppies. Good view as well. Closest equivalent is the chum bucket.

Excellent view! Perfect service! Food was not my fav.

The best food we had on our stay in Emerald Isle. Food was excellent with generous portions. Cocktails were well made and delicious. Service was top notch as well. We went in around 5pm with no waiting. I would go to this place over and over.
