Gaffer's - Emerald Isle

We've been here three times now. The first time, we ordered the quiet box and hush puppies, but they didn’t really impress us. On our next visit, we tried the Gaff Diders, which were amazing! My husband loves them without ranch dressing and keeps asking for them. Our son tends to stick to what he knows, especially since he enjoys his dad’s favorite BBQ boneless wings. They're not the adventurous type when it comes to food, so they usually avoid half the menu. My daughter previously had the salmon and absolutely loved it. Overall, the food is good. The outdoor atmosphere is definitely better than dining inside, so on nice days, we enjoy having a beer or a Mermaid Stamp and just relaxing.

Highly recommended! Delicious food, amazing customer service. My husband absolutely loved his lobster, he said it was the best he?s had. My burger was very delicious too, and my son loved his grilled cheese sandwich. The desserts were amazing, the creme brûlée was yummy! We had a wonderful time, we will be visiting again soon. ??

Thursday is the best ribnacht and you get a 12 or 16 ounces of meat with green beans and a potato or rice. If you see carbs, you can replace fresh fruit for the potato I have never seen, but as a limit type 2 diabetics, I went for it. Service is friendly and they have many outdoor seats when the weather is beautiful.

Good solid food at a reasonable price. The Seafood Linguine was particularly good. The Blackened Shrimp Nachos Starter was a massive amount of food, so note that if it is just two of you. The place was packed for a Friday night over the summer, but the service was very efficient. Patio was okay, but the chairs inside looked much more comfortable.

I had a wonderful experience on a bustling Sunday evening. The wait was pleasant, and there was plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy a drink from the bar while we waited. The service was quick, efficient, and friendly; it’s always nice to see someone genuinely enthusiastic about their food recommendations. I particularly loved the black tuna. One person in my group ordered the Mahi, but unfortunately, it was a bit dry. Overall, I will definitely return when I'm in the area!
