And menu a bit different with some good variations from the norm. and recognised items as well) and they start serving earlier than some. Which was excellent for us. Highly recommended. Beautiful Pub, great staff and excellent food. One of the nicest Pubs to visit in Cumbria.
All In all a pretty good lunch. Not cheap mind you for a pub meal. Price per person: £30–40 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great food. Reasonable price and excellent service. What more could you ask for. It's on the bus route between Cockermouth and Keswick. X4 X5. Gets busy so make sure you book.
