Feedback
My wife ordered the chicken tacos, I had the meatloaf, and my son chose garlic pasta along with an order of fried pickles. Our meals were excellent, though my son wasn't thrilled with his pasta, as he expected something different. When the server checked on us, he mentioned he didn’t really like it, but we explained that it was due to his misunderstanding of what he ordered. The server offered to take it off the bill, but we insisted on paying for it since we had ordered it. In the end, she decided to remove it from the bill anyway. Unfortunately, they are too far from Kentucky for us to visit regularly, but we definitely would if it were closer!
We discovered this restaurant while traveling between Niagara Falls and Chicago. Although it was a bit off the highway, we decided to give it a try, and we're so glad we did. The restaurant has a unique and well-designed atmosphere, featuring a large bar and rolling garage doors (since we went for lunch, I assume they open them at times). We began with the Short Rib Poutine, which was fantastic and served in generous portions. The Carnivore Pizza was also superb; I enjoyed every single bite. And don't miss out on the carrot cake for dessert—it’s a must-try! The Foundry has truly proven why it enjoys such high regard. If you find yourself in Elyria, make sure to dine at The Foundry!
We only had a football team dinner here with a party of 30. They had reserved our tables when we were there. We're out of town and don't know the area at all. I couldn't believe how efficient the staff was. The orders were fast and the food was quick. Everything was delicious. The drinks were also really good. They had a special drop drink menu with some delicious options. I loved the atmosphere. I'd definitely go back. Thank you. My husband and friend also got a baconburger and both said, "This could be the best burger I've ever had. ‘
