Caffe Nero - Ely
Caffe Nero
Description
Caffe Nero offers a varied experience, with some patrons enjoying the warm ambiance and friendly staff, particularly in the newly refurbished locations where cleanliness and attentiveness shine. Many rave about the delightful range of beverages and tempting cakes, like the Sicilian Lemon Cheesecake. However, inconsistent service, especially from certain staff members, detracts from the enjoyment. Complaints about slow service, unclean tables, and a lack of customer care paint a less flattering picture. Despite these issues, the coffee remains a staple for many, with its inviting atmosphere making it a favorable stop along the High Street.

The best coffee chain in the uk, friendly staff. Especially the Ely branch. Meal type: Other Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Cobwebs, black mouldy window frames, worn and dirty chairs, and terrible phone signal or internet. Didn’t linger long. Very much feels like this one is tired and running out its lease. Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2 Dietary restrictions: Different milks are available
I visited Caffe Nero Ely for the first time and was not disappointed. I ordered an orange hot chocolate which is one of the seasonal drinks offered over the Christmas period. The hot chocolate was delicious with a classic, rich chocolaty taste accompanied by an orange flavour, the drink was also served with whipped cream and chocolate sauce. All staff members were extremely polite, friendly and professional, especially Lily who offered to watch my bags for me while I used the toilet. I would defiantly recommend getting the Caffe Nero app which offers great rewards and deals such as free drinks and student discounts. The Caffe also has a range of comfortable seating options suited to every size group or individual. The menu is extensive and includes options suitable for a range of diets and preferences including vegetarian and dairy free options, I will defiantly be returning!! I stopped by for a light breakfast and a coffee. I opted for a cheese and tomato toasted sandwich and a large americano coffee. It was the perfect choice if you're not in the mood for a heavy breakfast. The staff were attentive and helpful. The seats were comfortable and we were never rushed to leave.
We stopped by with our granddaughters for some coffee and hot chocolate. They are familiar with the place and knew what to order. The temperature of the drinks was just right. Although it was a bit crowded, I see that as a positive sign. Despite having a Starbucks nearby, Caffe Nero seems to be quite popular.
