Beyond our fantastic coffee and baked goods, we take pride in curating a selection of unique and high quality products sourced from smaller scale producers. From hand cut farmhouse cheeses by Neal’s Yard Dairy to larder essentials, small batch beers, and natural wines, we offer everything you might need to elevate your meals at home. Whether you come for the bread or stay for a coffee, you’ll likely leave with dinner in hand. Our shelves feature only products we personally enjoy, including fresh cheeses from Neal’s Yard Dairy and Fen Farm, as well as dairy from Estate Dairy, which is also used in our coffee creations. Explore our collection of authentic Italian dried pasta, Spanish crisps and cured meats, French and Portuguese tinned fish and terrines, Italian soft drinks, local honey and jams, beautiful loose leaf teas, and a variety of Italian pates and antipasti, all available when you visit or pre order your favourites along with your bread and pastries. Natural wine is at the heart of our offering at Bake Shop General Store. We focus on small producers and continually refresh our selection with each arrival. Join us for a glass in store, where six different wines by the glass are available daily—a wonderful way to discover new wines or simply relax. Enjoy your wine with a snack in our charming garden, or take part in our regular wine evenings. Settle in with a coffee or hot chocolate in our cozy pantry room, back room, potting shed corridor, or enjoy the fresh air in our walled garden. On sunny days, the bench outside offers a prime spot for people watching on St. Mary’s Street.
