I?ve been traveling for a month and every restaurant that claims to be dog friendly online has been happy to give my dog water. This place would not, even though we were on their supposedly ?dog friendly patio? in 80 degree weather. They said it is against health code?if that were true then their patio could not possibly be dog friendly per that same health code? I even asked for a styrofoam to-go container, not any... Jim and Mimi are the most hospitable folks you'll meet in Ely so make sure to swing by Shooters if you're in the area. They also own the hotel across the street if you wanted to rest for the night so there's no reason not to hang out and stay for awhile. Mimi will always have kimchi and delicious food ready while Jim will always be up to shoot a game. We are grateful for the warm reception and will definitely visit again if we find ourselves in Ely. It is a very low key relaxing place to shoot pool and have some decent food. I go every night I am in town.
