We first stumbled over this place about 5 years ago, when we happen to stay in a villa near. that has proved to be very happy! it is so simple; but fantasticall... read more We first stumbled over this place about 5 years ago, when we happen to stay in a villa near. that has proved to be very happy! it is so simple; but fantastically executed (from the point) with the highlight meat and more. meat! the service is great and both at pre-Kids and then with a 1 year old and a 4 year old in tow, the staff was very accommodating. I would recommend being with a little spanish as there is no menu, but that is by no means a deal breaker. the prices are excellent, and it is always busy with locals, which I am interested in sampling in Spain. I have to admit to feel a little sad by some of the generic international restaurants in the opposite; but if simple, no ruffle, great eating, with warm and welcoming service is for them, then it is definitely worth visiting!

I have been here several times in recent years and find it fascinating to find a large bar/restaurant with a butcher shop inside...-not for vegetarian! the first time I went about 11 o'clock on a Saturday and it was with mainly men pricked in plates of meat with wine and beer, what happened with the traditional desayuno very loud, but that is spanish for you. easy eating, much of it and good prices I loved it and have made many friends there definitiw an experience, unless they miss their guiness!
