Really tasty and affordable! We had the menu of the day, with everyone making a different starter and main. The food tasted homemade and was served in generous portions. The staff is very kind as well!
We had dinner here tonight. The positives: service was good, food/drink was cheap and they could fit us in without a reservation on a Friday evening. However, we ordered baby squid and were told there was none. We substituted with calamari. Not too much of an issue. I ordered pisto (fried onions, peppers, courgette), but was told there was none so I went for grilled veg instead (I am vegetarian). The choice of food actually available was significantly less than listed on the menu. When the food arrived, the battered prawns had been replaced with two cod croquettes. The grilled veg was a plateful of sliced mushrooms and the patatas bravas was essentially some fried potato cubes drizzled with cream of tomato soup. Our Spanish was not good enough to explain that a plateful of mushrooms did not equate to the ordered grilled vegetables (and that I cannot eat them). Average food. On the plus side, a bottle of white wine only cost 7 euros. Would not go back again.
