We didn't have reservations for this restaurant and very nearly did not get a table but with the help of a waitress by the name of Arantza we were eventually se... read more We didn't have reservations for this restaurant and very nearly did not get a table but with the help of a waitress by the name of Arantza we were eventually seated on the understanding that we would vacate our table one and a half hours...later....not a problem. We were so glad that we were persistent but in the future we will make sure that we have a reservation. The menu was interesting varied but we opted for the menu of the day which was 15 euros for 3 courses and inclusive of one drink, a beer for my husband a glass of very acceptable Luzon Blanco (Chardonnay/Macebo). We shared our 2 starters which were both quite excellent, firstly a chicken fajita with pineapple, peanut sauce and goats cheese and then a large salad with a variety of lovely leaves topped with black olives, papaya, pink onions, ham and goats cheese with a whisky dressing...super. This was followed by a huge piece of salmon, cooked perfectly, on a pumpkin puree and broccoli and a long,slow cooked cut of lamb, couscous and carrot puree for myself. My only complaint would be that the food could have been a little hotter. Then an exceptionally good molten chocolate pudding with ice cream vanilla sauce and a carrot cake. We will definitely return.

She has been to the... read more Situated in the cosmopolitan city of Elche is this absolute gem of a restaurant, we were invited by a Spanish friend to join her for lunch. She has been to the restaurant on several occasions before and recommended we should try it. Firstly you will...need to book, there are two floors in the restaurant and both were full. We had the menu, which was €15 for 3 courses and included a drink. For the FIRST time we all enjoyed all the courses, the flavours and quality of the ingredients were amazing. The team serving were all very warm and friendly. The kitchen was partly open to the restaurant and the chefs worked in a clean and organised way. There was a full menu which to be honest I did not check out, but we were seated near to the kitchen so I watched lots of food leave and it all looked amazing. We will definitely return. I have to tell you that I loved the dessert so much I was prepared to marry the chef!!!
