Think Italian trattoria or Greek taverna if you 're not familiar with the term. Usually family run with good, simple, and home/handmade food the peoples cuisine of Portugal. Perfect price/quality ratio. We spent a week in this great town and had our lunches here for the duration. Try to avoid peak hours it gets crowded in which case you will have plenty of time to check the menu in fluent Portuguese as it is hand written on the blackboard. Enjoy!
