A fantastic setup. Super suitable for training. The combination with Gasthof and Klostertopf is excellent. The service is excellent and very friendly and accommodating. No matter what we ordered at the restaurant, we were always surprised by the great quality. Let's go. View all feedback.

A tour through the venerable walls of the Eberbach Monastery is an impressive experience. The guest guide who led us through the rooms today had a very well-founded knowledge and told us that the establishment of the former Cistercian abbey dates back to Saint Bernhard from Clairvaux. The dissolution and deordination took place in 1803 by the mother monastery Clairvaux. Today, the facility serves as a museum and venue for numerous top-class events, including the Rheingau Music Festival. Wine tasting takes place in the vaults. In the winter half of 1985/1986 the monastery filmed space for the world-famous film The name of the rose with James Bond-Urgestein Sean Connery in the main role.
