It's definitely worth visiting to interact with the friendly staff, savor delicious food, and appreciate the lovely atmosphere. The chef is talented and open-minded, and it's great to see everyone working together as a team. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful experience. (Unfortunately, I was too busy enjoying the food to take pictures!)

The menu features d... read more This charming cafe offers indoor and outdoor seating options (in the arcade), but be prepared for crowds outside with families and shoppers. The menu features delicious, simple fare, with my kids particularly enjoying the chicken pies. The service is friendly, the food is fresh, and there is a nice variety of options to choose from. The quality of the food is excellent and there is plenty of parking available nearby.

However, if you enjoy the lively banter between the barista/owner and staff, then you should definitely check it out! The restaurant is quite small, with only around 3 or 4 tables, creating a cozy and communal atmosphere. There is no set menu as it changes daily, with most of the meals displayed in a deli fridge. The barista was enthusiastic about describing each dish in the fridge to us. I tried the vegetarian lasagna which was delicious, and the coffee was decent as well. The only downside was the lack of prices on anything.

As is its location, right in the heart of Eltham in this little arcade directly across the Main Rd to the Eltham train station.
