The banquet is the only way to go! The seafood banquet is the same as the normal with a couple more courses. Whilst the food is very good the experience is always excellent. A lovely vibe. If you're booking ask for the front room as it is much nicer.The staff are really great and very attentive. There's a belly dancer on Friday and Saturday nights, but not until about 9-9.30. What User doesn't like about Maroush:
I recently went to Maroush for a dinner with the school mums. We opted for the banquet just to make it easier when it came to contributing to the bill. The food was nice but basic, it seemed fairly simple and generic just your typical dips with pita bread, some basic meat dishes and salad. An extremely dissapointing evening, it was Valentines Day and we arrived at 725pm. It took a while for our drinks order to be taken , we had to call the waitress over and we ordered the banquet for 2 at 745pm. Our first course arrived shortly thereafter. At 9pm we still hadn't received our next coarse so we called the waitress over at 915 and asked for the bill as it was now too late to start eating heavy meat dishes. At 920pm we went to pay as we still didn't receive the bill. Dissapointingly the kitchen appeared to be focusing on take away menus instead of prioritising in house customers. Our Valentines dinner concluded at McDonalds. Have been to Maroush before and this is the worst service. 3 other tables of customers also walked out due to very very slow service.
New owners very disappointing used to always be consistently excellent. Food below average meat tasteless and tough. Will not return.
Delicious food and excellent service that our family thoroughly enjoyed. We will definitely be going back.
Delicious food in pleasant surrounds. Warm and welcoming staff. Enjoyed our evening, especially the cultural dancing and music. Thank you.
