We needed a midweek, late night ladies catch up once the kids were all tucked up in bed. We chose a suburb that was vaguely midway between our places that looked good online. Small but has a good vibe. Only 2 other customers in the joint (but it was nearly 9pm on Thursday night). Bartender was friendly. He made some lovely lovely cocktails. Cocktails roughly $25 each (I’d say midrange prices) My aviation is not like I’ve had before (and I’ve had plenty). I couldn’t taste the Maraschino liqueur or the Crème de violette, but it was a tasty and strong variation to an aviation which I still very much enjoyed. My friend had a salted caramel espresso martini which was in point Sadly no bar food on the menu which is why it gets a 4/5 for me. Hard to drink more than one cocktail without any food in your belly.
