The grounds are just stunning and speak for themselves but the staff love what they do and it just adds that extra level of love on a special day.

The venue is stunning and w... read more We were thrilled to have our wedding at Ballara Receptions. When we were choosing from 3 venues, Ballara was always my first choice. The venue is stunning and we couldn't find fault with anything. The staff, especially Popy the function manager, made sure everything was perfect and exactly how we wanted it. Our guests raved about the delicious food and we were grateful for the ample amount provided – no need for a quick trip to McDonald's! Overall, we want to thank Ballara for giving us a flawless day. The venue is absolutely beautiful, there are so many great places to take wedding photos including the lovely gardens and lake. We were also extremely impressed by how helpful the staff were leading up to and on the day they made sure we kept to time and had anything we needed at all times. They were incredibly attentive and ensured that every little detail was taken care of they made the experience so easy and fun for us. The food was delicious and with very generous portions! We especially loved the pork belly. We had many guests come up to us on the night to say how much they loved the food.

We did ceremony only and photos. Our wedding day was magical our guests were comfortable. The gardens were pristine and look stunning in our photos. The only thing that let us down (hence not a 5 star review) was the music was way too low for the certificate signing exit of the chapel. We are lovers of music and the songs we chose had significant meaning to us. To not have that mood set by the music really disappointed me. All in all the Chapel at Ballara allowed us to have a ceremony in a beautiful setting that was exactly what we were looking for. Thank you

We booked... read more We were extremely pleased with our decision to have our wedding at Ballara. The staff was welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived for a tour. We booked our date right away because we knew it was the perfect venue for us. Throughout the planning process, the team was responsive, accommodating, and made postponing our wedding due to Covid stress-free. The family-run business truly cares about making your day perfect. Loretta was organized and amazing during our final meeting, and both she and Jan were there on the day to ensure everything ran smoothly. The food was incredible, with a wide selection that left guests raving. Thank you to everyone at Ballara for making our day so special - we will definitely return for future events!
