Ballara Receptions - Eltham

We can't recommend Ballara highly enough! The venue is absolutely beautiful, there are so many great places to take wedding photos including the lovely gardens and lake. We were also extremely impressed by how helpful the staff were leading up to and on the day they made sure we kept to time and had anything we needed at all times. They were incredibly attentive and ensured that every little detail was taken care of they made the experience so easy and fun for us. The food was delicious and with very generous portions! We especially loved the pork belly. We had many guests come up to us on the night to say how much they loved the food.

We were extremely pleased with our decision to have our wedding at Ballara. The staff was welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived for a tour. We booked our date right away because we knew it was the perfect venue for us. Throughout the planning process, the team was responsive, accommodating, and made postponing our wedding due to Covid stress-free. The family-run business truly cares about making your day perfect. Loretta was organized and amazing during our final meeting, and both she and Jan were there on the day to ensure everything ran smoothly. The food was incredible, with a wide selection that left guests raving. Thank you to everyone at Ballara for making our day so special - we will definitely return for future events!

We had our wedding at Ballara and it was just magical. The staff were simply incredible and so supportive even through the unfortunate postponement. The grounds are just stunning and speak for themselves but the staff love what they do and it just adds that extra level of love on a special day.

I recently attended my nephew's wedding at Ballara, and I was very impressed with the all-in-one location. The chapel, beautiful surroundings for photos, and reception room were all fantastic. The attention to detail provided to the wedding party by Ballara was exceptional, and as a guest, I received excellent service (special thanks to Hannah!). The food was delicious, and overall, it was a wonderful experience.

The most beautiful and magical place to get married!! With the most supportive, warm and welcoming staff. We would recommend Ballara 1000 times to any engaged couple. Stacey took care of us from day one and ensured everything was perfect on our special day, and Loretta was an amazing bridal host ensuring that no one needed to stress and everyone had what they wanted during the night. Ballara are also DOG FRIENDLY!! We brought our beautiful Rosie who stayed for both ceremony and reception and it was just perfect!
