They were so generous and even gave us a bag of apples from their orchard. The food was amazing - fresh and made with care. We adored the cozy atmosphere and the owners' willingness to share their history with us. If you're a traveler, make sure to stop by!

The whole experience felt like a... read more Our breakfast upstairs was simple yet delicious, and it was interesting to watch the staff prepare our food behind the counter. The whole experience felt like a journey back in time, with décor that harked back to decades past. While I fondly appreciate this nostalgia, I couldn't help but feel some discomfort with certain elements that seemed out of place in today's world, such as the cowboys and Indians table and the poem about the hangman's tree decorated with nooses. Although locals may argue that it reflects a different era and that I'm being overly sensitive, it was something that stood out to me.

Quaint little place with live music the day we were there...Friday. They only serve one dish. Very small place so I get it. The pork chop was good with quite a few sides. Desert sucked. There was carrot cake dishes all made up and looked great then they gave us something like pumpkin cake which was gross. Very cheap so I shouldn't complain too much. $9

Bread from a... read more It's weird how everyone raves over this place. Homemade homemade. My sausage was not from ground meat. It was out of a box. Hash browns from a box. Bread from a plastic bag, for sure. What was homemade in this meal? Oh, the eggs probably came out of a shell. Small portions too. To be HOMEMADE, you need to cut the potatoes, press a sausage patty out of ground meat, and bake some bread. Doubt I'll be back. On the plus side, the girl who served us was a sweetie.
