Eleventh meal in this excellent restaurant: quality always at the rendezvous. The dishes are always as excellent. Explosion of flavors at the first bite. A quality service in a very nice atmosphere. One of our favorite addresses
Excellent moment and experience last night with colleagues in this restaurant also discovered yesterday. The food was succulent and the quantities were perfect for a meal (menu entrance, dish and dessert). The staff was very welcoming and helpful, the relaxed and calm atmosphere, the warm place. I will certainly return to it, and I recommend without hesitation!
Small topo : We booked a table for 2. For the atmosphere, the setting is really top, a kind of redesigned brewery with views of the kitchen. For food, nothing to say 3 services entry, dish, dessert, with the offer of the moment. That was great. The lamb was extra. The wine card is wide you have a choice. For the service, top. The server is very welcoming and smiling. He was alone for 9 tables, he manages. We have been very surprised at the standing of this restaurant higher than expected, we recommend it and we will return there for sure.

The food was delicious and provided a wonderful culinary experience! The service was excellent as well, with attentive waitstaff who paid attention to every detail.

Chou is a small jewel, a warm, cozy restaurant in an otherwise bureaucratic EU district. The food is good, the wines are great, and the ambience cozy and welcoming. Prices are reasonable.

I discovered Chou long time ago, but hadn 't had the chance to enjoy a meal yet. Yesterday was a great ocassion to see what the concept was all about. The menu is attractive from the very beginning, though you can also see the differences between the starters and the main dishes. The former much more elaborated than the later. To start with, the crab crumble is a great option, freshy and the flavours combine perfectly. To continue, instead of salmon, the fishy dish was cod in papillote, which i took. Nicely cooked, the different sides fit nicely. Basic and simple but always a great choice. We also gave a chance to the veal, the daily suggestion. The cooking point was good, so was the tasty. Unfortunately it was a bit more greasy than expected... To finish the meal we couldn 't leave without something sweet. Desserts change each day apparently, so it is a matter of luck that what they offer fits your expectations. In our case, it did, so much that we had to ask for a third shared one. The tarte tatin tasted good, but a bit too much of beurre salé on top. Slightly less would have made it perfect. The 'lemon tart ' with coconut ice-cream was just out of this world. The lemond curl was creamy and not more bitter than it has to be, the crumble had a touch of anise and the coconut ice-cream perfectly unified everything together. Cherry on top? A bit of red berries jam that fit with the rest just great! It is obvious what our third shared dessert was... Another one! As much as we liked the food, we were surprised with how much the service should improve. The manager had a vey pretencious way of behaving, sometimes even rude when approching clients and even when asking him for recommendations. Surprising knowing the level the restaurant is supposed to have... Regarding the restaurant, a nice and cozy attractive spot from the outside. However, fully packed and not enough space to host all of the people inside in a comfortable way. Not enough space for the waiters to pass through... I did even have to have dinner twisted to one side (following the managers request, with no manners, instead of also asking the table that was behind to move a little bit too) to avoid feeling the hits in my chair every time they were passing behind. The place was terribly loud, which made it very difficult to have a peaceful conversation with my date. Upsetting! All in all, this review is meant to be constructive and a push for improvement, above all of the service and the vibes of the restaurant, as it could tremendously improve the future reviews the restaurant will get.
