We had dinner at Hero restaurant, a third-generation family business, and were positively surprised by the highly recommended pancakes — they truly are delicious! We tried the vegetarian pancake and the spinach pancake, and both were absolutely fantastic. The desserts were the highlight of the evening: the chocolate with mint sauce and the parfait of the day (with pistachio, turon, mascarpone, and hazelnut flavours) were all amazing. The owner spoke all the languages of the diners (we counted 4 while we were there, he said he speaks 6, which adds up), he was super knowledgeable about wines, and the food... We loved it! It was experimental and traditional somehow at the same time, they also incorporated foods from the usual customer's countries, while maintaining a local atmosphere... so unique.
