A delicious crispy quinoa black bohnenburger with made to house tofu mayo embroidered with salad and tomato. great menu option, just need a better salat than eisberg. the sweet potato friars are also great!
As a student at Elon The Root is my absolute favorite place to eat. They have great, fresh, affordable food. The best thing is their falafel burger! While there are not tons of veg options, the ones they do have are great.
Overall, there are very limited vegan options, but what they do offer is very good. If your vegan, I'd recommend it, to try what they offer, especially the crispy Brussel sprouts. If your not you'll still love the place and enjoy all it has to offer.
The Root was a very nice experience. The booth are very high so you can feel separated from others eating in the restaurant. Since we were on a date night that was very appreciated. Food was cooked well by the chefs. Great atmosphere, great food, supernice staff. If you are in the Elon area, I would eat here. We will definitely be back!
My favorite restaurant. It is so addicting! My favorites are the cauliflower appetizer with ranch instead of the sauce it comes with, the Island Chicken Sandwich, brussel sprouts, and the world's best french fries. They also have great salads and burgers.
