Oysters on the half shell were delicious. Sicilian margarita was very refreshing. Loved the live music of Adam Pearce seating is awkward for listening to/watching live music. View all feedback.
What Kaylee Johnson doesn't like about Jaeger's Seafood And Oyster House:
Was very disappointed with the Seafood Gumbo. Rice was overcooked and Gumbo lacked seasoning. Stuffed crab also lacked seasoning. Basically all of the food need some salt! View all feedback.
Flew into New Orleans, this was our first stop to get some good food. It's an old bar type place. Very dim lighting, has a stage for a live band, and a great big gator at the front door. Don't worry, it doesn't bite. Our server was a kind lady and the food was delicious! Thank you!
The sign on the door and internet both indicated they closed at 930...yet at 9 pm they were no longer accepting customers...party of one...paying customer..make it make sense.
In a nutshell, fried shrimp were extremely overcooked, waitress literally THREW the straws on the table, they were out of hushpuppies. A table (4) next to us (7), was seated AFTER us, they had crawfish, salads and just finished their entrees when THREE of us got the food, those three were just finishing their food when 2 more got their food, that looked like it was literally thrown the plates, then about 5 minutes later, 3 have finished eating and the last two get their food.... salads!!! Didn't remove dishes, was apparently put out when asked for refills. Jaeger's has seriously gone down the drain. I should have complained to management, but I honestly didn't feel like it. Not going there again. And just disgusted this waitress got 18% tip automatically because of separate checks and there were 7 of us... she got about a $50 tip, when she didn't deserve $5.
Phil did awesome job keeping everything running smoothly.
Would give it 5 stars but they don’t open on Monday and Tuesday the days us drivers be looking to drink
