We were staying at Carriage Hills resort over the Thanksgiving weekend and the local place recommended to us had a long wait. So we found this little place in Elmvale after a quick online search and decided to check it out. All the tables were full -- you could tell that the locals keep it busy. My husband and I had the usual breakfast -- eggs, hashbrowns, toast -- but my son got a hamburger at 10:30 a.m. no problem... View all feedback.
What Janis Powlowski doesn't like about Kozy Kitchens D's:
After being completely ignored for 15 minutes by the visibly annoyed hostess/cashier/server, even though we were the only ones waiting, we decided to leave. Throughout our wait, my wife, children, and I had to endure what seemed to be a continuous argument between the hostess and the cook. Fortunately, we discovered an excellent restaurant nearby. Glad to see that they are in there own area of their new establishement. Its still the same great food and staff. The new establishment LOOKs Great. Can't wait to go back! And you can't beat the price for the portions you recieve
It's a bar, not a kozy setting. Has an old feel. Not distinguishable from the curb. Lacks view of the quaint town.
I've been here several times and every time there is good service, good food and town regulars (you can tell who they are). Hot turkey dinner on a miserable day = excellent!
We stop in here before visiting mom who is at Sara Vista. Good little spot with home cooked meals. Nothing fancy, just wholesome dinner.
Went to this place to eat a couple of times with a friend, excellent friendly service knows their regulars well and great banter Food was great tasting and service was good
