Pudgies - Elmira

The food was excellent, and the prices were reasonable. The owner was very friendly and spoke with a smile. They quickly fulfilled a large order for me in just 30-45 minutes, which included 30 pieces and 2 large sheets of pizza. The restaurant was clean, and the soda and condiment bar was well stocked. I also appreciated the option to eat outside.

This franchise restaurant, like many others, has all the usual offerings. As with most Pudgie's pizza locations, I would suggest flipping the pizza slices you see on the front counter. The newly introduced grilled wings were a highlight, though the hot flavor wasn't very spicy. On the other hand, the calzone was delightful, filled with an ample amount of ricotta and mozzarella encased in a buttery, golden crust. The prices are reasonable, and although it took a bit longer than expected to prepare our order on a busy Saturday afternoon, the drinks are refillable, which is a nice perk.

The food was delicious, but it is a bit on the pricey side. However, I believe it's worth it. Unfortunately, during my last visit, the service from a young lady was disappointing and didn't meet my expectations. I've been dining here since the 80s, primarily enjoying the pizza, but after this experience, I’m hesitant to return.
