Fantastic meal, nice mix of Thai staples and some harder to find items on the menu. We got mango salad, fish ball curry, larb fried chicken, and roti curry. Everything was delicious, will definitely be back. View all feedback.
A last day after a quick jaunt with a friend through my local Asian supermarket, I realized that I starved, and decided that we passed too close to Boon Chu both Pho Bang and High Pearl, two of my favorite area restaurants. I visited and wrote twice before about Boon Chu, but I always find myself at Pho Bang or High Pearl; I forget that Boon Chu is just another block away. Ups! Water bottle that was given to us so that we could drink as much water as we wanted nice touch, as in my first review just about 2 years ago I noticed that my water glass remained empty all the time. I don't know if Thai iced tea is something that is actually from Thailand, but I always command it. That was satisfying, not too sweet. When I saw crispy catfish salad on the menu, I knew I wanted to try. I had this with Sripraphai a few times and enjoyed it quite a lot, and hoped it would be similar here, maybe even better. Sweet, the woman who took our order that I think was also an owner
Good place for Thai food. Fried chicken flour 8/10 chicken has salt and pepper skin and is juicy on the inside. Tom yum soup 8/10 Good taste without too spicy Papaya salad 7/10 Thai ice cream 7/10 milk but good Thai ice cream tea 7/10 milky, sweet
Boon Chu Thai Place was on my Bucket list for a while and we finally have a chance to visit it. The decor is available with a few interior tables and there is no toilet room for customers who was a disappointing point for us. The options on their menu are diverse and we had to share their Roti and Kati Curry, large Tom Yum Soup and Larb Fried Chicken with two of us. The part was great and we could not finish all with a reasonable price. It is also really delicious, especially the Larb Fried Chicken, the chicken was tender and well roasted.
Come here very often and the food is always good! Sitting is limited, so take out if you can
Best Thai food around in Elmhurst, never disappoints. I’d say to eat inside because it’s fresh and taste good otherwise if you get delivery, it taints the flavors of the meal. Will not taste as good if you do delivery.
