The home-style cooking at this restaurant is fantastic, but they struggle with following directions. We requested no veggies on our burgers, but when we got home, not only were the vegetables missing, but so were the sauces, leaving our burgers very dry and lacking flavor. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Eagle's Nest:
My husband and I visited this restaurant on February 16, 2020, and ordered the Eagle Pride and Mushroom Swiss burger baskets. Unfortunately, within 24 hours, we both became very ill. Our doctor informed us that it was one of the worst cases of food poisoning they had encountered. We are certain it originated from this restaurant, as it was the only meal we had that day. Unfortunately, it is now closed, which is really disappointing. It had the best milkshakes, burgers, and fries.
I absolutely LOVE Eagle's Nest. It's my favorite burger place in Elma. I've been coming here since I was a kid, and my husband and I even had our first date here! He can't get enough of the gut burger and orders it every single time. The staff are all incredibly friendly and welcoming. The burgers are fantastic, and don't even get me started on their fries – they are simply amazing! I highly recommend coming here if you're in the mood for a delicious burger and fries. They also serve some incredible dairy freezes!
If you’re not fond of spending time around teenagers or young adults, it’s best to avoid visiting during the afternoons on school days.
They serve a really great burger, and the fries are deliciously crispy.
The food is mediocre; we mainly visit for the ice cream. Unfortunately, it's very overpriced, and you're essentially paying the same amount for a cone as you would for a pint of Tillamook ice cream. Because of the high prices, we seldom come here.
