Contribute Feedback What Rozalia Macovei likes about Angelo's Pizzeria:
I've ordered from Angelo twice. The first time, I got a personal-sized pizza for my son, a large pizza for everyone else, and a buffalo chicken pack. The second time, I had the chicken gyro and fries. Let me tell you, their buffalo chicken is some of the best I've had! It's packed with chicken—I'm usually used to just a few pieces along with salad, tomatoes, and onions, but the amount of chicken they include in their... View all feedback.
What Delpha Little doesn't like about Angelo's Pizzeria:
Oh no, why did this happen? This was our family's favorite pizza place, and suddenly everything has changed. The crust used to be wonderfully thick and handcrafted, but now it feels like a cheap imitation! The pizzas are smaller and look like they've been made in a pan, and the dough doesn't taste authentic anymore. I'm so disappointed! View all feedback.
Call here twice for food this weekend and every time they are the phone, they are RUDE!!!! I've never been as disgusting as a business takes orders. Get customer service training and teach your team better. I'm not coming back.
Angelo?s was our trip to pizza in the city. Really good. However, they have recently changed their crust and it is not so good and is clearly smaller. I hope they change it back because we don't order the pizza anymore. Cheesesteaks are good, but we order pizza more often.
We have enjoyed takeout from Angelo 's for a few years now with an occasional mistake but that 's not unusual with any restaurant. This evening however I placed an online order and swung by to pick it up after work on the way home. After arriving home I opened the bag to get our food and found that my wife 's chicken Caesar salad was ... some other type of salad with feta cheese which she hates. I called Angelo 's and very politely told them of their mistake after confirming on my receipt that I had ordered the right salad. The person who answered the phone didn 't say much, had long periods of silence and hemmed and hawed. He asked if we wanted to drive back and get the right salad. I said yes but explained that we live 16 miles away. He said...ok... I asked if he wanted us to bring the wrong salad back to them or throw it out and he said sure . After about 10 seconds of additional silence he hung up on me. No apology. So my wife and I drove 16 miles back to Angelo 's where my wife went in and exchanged the salads. Again no apology but they did tell her there would be no additional charge. ? Returning home after driving the 32 additional miles, wasting about $10 in extra gas, getting no apology for their frigged up service or the extra hour of driving and delay, the miles and added expense for our trouble I then sat down to eat my own, now cold, hot parmesan sub. Yum. ? Going to be avoiding Angelo 's for the foreseeable future until or unless their service and staff improve to at least the level of common decency and courteous customer service.
One of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had! Asked what specials were available, we were gruffly informed that they do not have any specials. We decided to order 1 large pizza, french fries, and soda. $30 was charged no big deal. We asked about our fries after he brought the (burnt) pizza out, but he claimed he didn't charge us for fries. We couldn't ask any questions before he ran off. The entire time we ate our pizza, he was nowhere to be seen.
Absolutely the best pie in town. Attention to detail, authentic ingredients and preparation in old world style. You won't get better pizza here! Don't forget the subs! The traditional Italian is my favorite.
