The guided tour was wonderful, with a knowledgeable and engaging guide. We enjoyed several walks around the house, and the café offered some fantastic coffee. The chapel in the house truly has a wow factor! View all feedback.
The tea room is lovely, and the grounds are beautiful. Unfortunately, we missed the two tour times and couldn't visit the house. Additionally, we had to pay for parking despite being National Trust members.
Beautiful hike around the ground, large playground for the small, good coffee and souvenir shop
I had a wonderful long walk around the expansive grounds of Haddo House before taking a tour of the house itself. Our guide, Gordon, was simply fantastic; he shared many captivating stories about the Gordon family as we moved from room to room. The library was impressive, and the James Giles paintings of every castle in Aberdeenshire in one of the downstairs rooms were particularly intriguing. It's a fantastic place to visit, and it feels great to support the National Trust for Scotland.

We have visited here many paintings in the course of the years as it has so much to offer. ponds with fish and birds, a great place to take the children to feed the ducks, swans and geese. beautiful gardens with beautiful trees and flowers, forest walks and fantastic historical sights. playgrounds for children and the house itself is spectacular. my youngs always enjoyed the cannon and the statues of the dogs in the garden and of course the huge urn and golden tore the Scottish mile. parking is only £2 and free after 18 clock for the premises.
