Naschberger's Pizza Restaurant - Ellmau

Good right hand made pizza and absolutely huge. I fought to eat the whole thing and that's usually not a problem. Try the Diavolo, good and hot.

The Pizza Restaurant is located at Hotel Alpin and if you are a guest, you can book a table and have pizza as a change from the normal dinner. Both were excellent.

We just went for a takeaway pizza, it was very delicious and I would recommend it. There were many people eating meals other than pizza and the staff was very pleasant.

Part of the Hotel Alpin in the centre of Scheffau, Naschberger's Pizza Restaurant is open to the public, and residents on the inclusive tariff can eat there if they book ahead (normally residents eat in the hotel annexe, which I have reviewed separately). We were staying in the hotel and had some friends in for a meal, plus we fancied a change, so pizza seemed to fit the bill. Help yourself to the buffet for a starter, and order pizza from the menu. They have all the usual options - I went for the frutti di mare, which perhaps wasn't that wise as the Tirol is a long way from the nearest Mare. Could have been improved with some garlic and anchovies - the seafood was thrown from a long way away, and it was perhaps a bit bland. Or maybe that's just me - my friends liked their pizzas a lot(Looking back at old reviews, I see that a year ago I went to the other pizza place in town, ordered much the same thing, and again concluded it was a bit bland. So this may be the way most locals and visitors like it.)Good friendly service
