This place is constantly good. The salads and pizzas are wonderful and we always have great service here. My only caution is it gets very loud in the dining room when the restaurant is full; however, they do offer a nice patio. View all feedback.
What Ashley R doesn't like about Crafty Chameleon:
The parking wasn't bad as it's located in a strip mall. As we came in, the sign said seat yourself, but someone greeted us, and we were seated immediately. We didn't like the smell of the cosmo wings. It was really bad, but the sauce was ok. I wish the chicken wings were fried crispy. The pizza was really good and their house cab was good too. They have a huge selection of beer, and their cocktail list was good. This would be a nice place for pizza and drinks. My boys are huge wing fans, and they were disappointed, which is why we likely will not return.
We went on a weekday night and it was so busy! Seating was self serve and we luckily found a couple of open tables. Food was pretty good! We ordered a pizza, wings and a Mac and cheese dish. I thought the quality of the food was excellent! Since it was a school night, I did not indulge in a nice cold beer! Would definitely return for this and more of the wings and pizza! Less than one week later: I went back for the beer. Loud and busy, I love it!
For a Craft brew and Wood Fired Pizza fan, you are bound to find something good at CC; plus they have Salads, Wings and Mac-n-Cheese dishes. Plenty of big tables for groups or families, plus outdoor patio for nicer days. Casual ambience with friendly and efficient service from staff. Overall, solid 4.0 rating for me with food and drink selections with attentive service. Expect to pay $15-20 for custom Pizza, $10-15 for apps/salads, and $6-8 for a tap pint. Today was perfect to share an Arugula Candied Bacon Salad and Pepperoni Mushroom Pie. Salad was prepared fresh with homemade dressing and generous toppings. Loved their Pizza served hot from the oven, with plenty of toppings and melted cheese. Yep, patrons are not required to get STL style cheese only, they do offer a nice cheese variety when creating your own pizza! Pair your food with a great selection of craft/local beer options on tap, even more variety in cans/bottles, plus wine or non-alcoholic drinks available. They tend to get busy on evenings and weekends, so suggest going early or for lunch. I enjoyed it enough to cater a group takeout meal on another day. Crafty Chameleon was right down my alley, hope you ENJOY!
