The experience was much better under the previous owner and cook. The service was quite slow, and when the food finally arrived, only one person in our group enjoyed their meal (the apple fritter with scrambled eggs). The three of us who ordered omelets were disappointed; none of them were particularly good. Great little restaurant, good food at a great price. If you're looking for a quick bite, go to the waffle house. It takes a little to get food, but it's worth it when it gets to you.
My sister and I moved to ElliJay and looked for a great breakfast place. We found it at Cornerstone Cafe! The food was amazing! Big portions for the price and their cookies were for dying! So glad we took the chance and stopped!!
Very home. wait staff very nice and attentive. I have not seen prices like these sins 1975! We all ordered something else and the food was excellent! My only little criticism is that the biscuits and Gravy (which were already delicious) would have beaten a notch if there were small sausage or bacon carvings in the engraving. We loved it!

Best Rueben Ever! Had to wait a little because it is a small place but it was well worth the wait.
