Finnerty's Tap Room - ELLICOTTVILLE

Seemed like they were overwhelmed by a couple of large groups. For some reason they were only allowing deep fried food at 9 pm. Fries were stone cold oven fries, way too much seasoning. Some fries were hard. House rub chicken fingers had an inordinate amount of seasoning. It was excessive and made them inedible. Barbecue fingers were drenched in sauce. They would would have been decent if they weren’t drowning in barbecue sauce. Jalapeño poppers were poor. Filled with cheese whiz. Wait staff were friendly. I recommend you visit Gin Mill or Slopeslide bar and bbq for homemade fresh food.

On a Tuesday night with less that 20 people in the bar it took 40 minutes to get 2 orders of chicken fingers and an appetizer. Servers were plastered. Couldn’t remember we had ordered an appetizer. It came out after out food and we said something. Truly terrible service.

After a long day of snowboarding, I and my friend picked up here and we decided to do the right thing. French onion soup is absolutely delicious and the wings were crispy with big blue cheese! Our waiter was Brad and he was so nice and friendly. Service was also super fast. The atmosphere makes you feel at home with your family. 100% recommend to everyone.

Visited this pub during my holiday in November. We came back at our second visit because they have the best wings in the city and the best customer service! Max was our waiter last time and we were surprised to get him this visit too! He remembered us and stories that we discussed during our visit a few months ago! Great atmosphere!

First time at Finnerty’s and although it was a very late Sunday night stop for us…the food and service were excellent! I’m a big fan of Chicken Finger subs and I have to say the BBQ Finger sub Finnerty’s was fantastic! Better then beloved Jim’s back in Buffalo. And our server Brad was a pleasure;
