We had an amazing dinner at Aroma Thyme Bistro. Good food and service! I was impressed about how many vegan options they had! I had the worst customer service experience at this restaurant. After waiting 55 minutes for a single salad and not receiving the cocktails we ordered, we overheard servers and kitchen staff arguing loudly. We were seated on the back patio next to a dying plant in a fire pit. Trying to get the attention of a waiter during their argument was difficult, and when we finally did, they glared at us. We never received our cocktails, so I can't review them. The salad was wilted and tasted mediocre. I recommend trying a different restaurant in the area if you value your time and money. (At least McDonald's is quick).

Our experience at Aroma Thyme was incredibly disappointing. After researching restaurants in the Hudson Valley area and watching videos on YouTube, we were excited to make a reservation. However, upon arriving at 5:00 for our 5:30 reservation, we were seated promptly but were left waiting for our food for over an hour and a half. The service was slow, with our waiter forgetting to put in our order for an appetizer and serving the wrong entrees. The food itself was mediocre, with burned bread and an inedible steak. Despite the kind gesture of removing these items from our bill, the overall experience left us feeling let down, especially since it was my husband's 70th birthday celebration. We decided to skip dessert and left a lower tip than usual, as we were unsure if the wait staff pooled their tips. Overall, it was a disappointing and unpleasant dinner.
