What User doesn't like about Whiskey Joe's Manatee River:
The service was extremely slow, and the restaurant wasn't even busy. The waiter appeared distracted, as if he was a bit out of it; his phone was ringing, and he struggled to get our order right. We ordered two vodka mixed drinks—one was so strong it was almost undrinkable, while the other barely had any flavor at all. Unfortunately, none of our food was very good either. My dinner was very good but chef forgot the pineapple on top of chicken. Waiter David was great. Atmosphere was nice. Definitely going back.

Met related from the city for lunch. Everyone noticed that it was a good choice. The menu offered something for everyone. Portions were abundant food was delicious. We weren't rushed and servers were attentive, but didn't float. All in all a beautiful experience.

What a wonderful experience! Originally we sat on the deck, but in a rear corner and asked if we were closer to the sand/water and the host made it very convenient to change tables! Our Sierra server was phenomenal! She came from someone in the service industry, was so knowledgeable, efficient and so sweet! This was the best service experience we had here! The food was good. Many seafood and drinks were excellent! Great team here!

When we made our reservations, I added that we didn't want a table to stand. They tried to sit at a stand and they acted visually frustrated that I didn't want to sit in a stand. They sat the three of us on an 8 above under the leakage AC vent. I asked if we could sit at another table and was told no. Our waitress was a 10 out of 10, incredibly nice and attentive. The loaded frits were brilliant, the spicy shrimps were not good. The three meals were decent. I don't think I'd ever go back there to eat there, it's a nice piece of land I could see drinking. Eating should be 2/3 of the price it is now for what you get.
